Cavernous smoke inside glaze with an aqua lip that extends over half the external surface area. Other half of the surface is raw bright speckled stoneware. Smoke drips create interest and were allowed to naturally flow to their conclusion during glazing, extending to the bottom of the piece. Fired on stilts to over 2100°F.

Suggestion: Showcase a whipped feta, baba ganoush or other subtle-hued complex levantine starter.
