Inspired by photos from the Webb telescope. Rounded opposing corners for a pleasing shape. Pictured holding large earrings and a thick ring for scale (neither included).

This piece is saggar-fired in a base of hay and pine chips. All coloring comes from attaching found natural materials, metals, and carbonates.

Bisque fired to 1922°. Colorant-fired in high-fire saggar to 1742°. 

Four cork pads underside to protect furniture.
